About

Depleted soil has lost its microbial biomass and ecological balance, which causes the loss of the soil’s ability to cycle carbon and nutrients. Soil health declines along with water holding capacity, increasing the need for watering. Sequester combats the problems associated with depleted soils by accelerating Microbial Soil Reclamation. The natural flow of carbon from the atmosphere through plants and into the microbes populating the plant’s root zone is restored and soil particles aggregate to preserve organic matter, increase aeration and to hold moisture.

Our Vision: Champion the Climate Crisis

We envision a future where we can transform agricultural practices into a regenerative solution that works for people and the planet. We want to increase crops yields, reduce synthetic fertilizers, rebuild soil function and health, and drive increased soil storage of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere to create more farm revenue through participation in environmental credit markets. We can champion the climate crisis and economic strength, and support stronger resilience for having fixed it together.

Our Mission

Restore the microbial health, organic matter and water holding capacity of depleted soil through Microbial Soil Reclamation

Increase crop nutrients and crop yield through the use of microbes for carbon and nutrient cycling

Sequester carbon from the atmosphere into the soil, increasing the capacity of crops and lawns to serve as carbon sinks

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to improve the health and economic welfare of humans, animals, and plants through the restoration of the soil’s natural ecological balance in order to provide communities with economic, water and food security . In sequestering atmospheric carbon and placing it in soil to benefit humanity, we will be a part of the solution to climate change and greater economic resilience and security.

Our Parent Company: Biodel AG

Biodel Ag is the developer and manufacturer of Sequester product lines- a Complete System for Regenerative Agriculture, as well as the Isoprenoid Amino Complex. We are specialists in Regenerative Transition Contracts: Facilitating the adoption of Regenerative Practices, providing biological inputs for high crop yields while restoring soil health, training management personnel in regenerative practices, and measuring crop performance and soil carbon storage.

Microbial Soil Reclamation with Sequester for Agriculture

Microbial Soil Reclamation with Sequester for Agriculture

Practically all soils are depleted, meaning the ability to cycle carbon and nutrients, and hold water has been lost or significantly reduced. This is also described as a loss in soil health because soils are literally alive. A typical gram of soil contains 1 billion...
